2002 WUSA Season
Following the 2001 season, the WUSA opted out of the last three years of its contract with Turner in order to sign a 2-year contract with PAX TV. The network would air a weekly Saturday game, the inaugural All-Star Game, and the entirety of the playoffs. No changes were made to the composition of the teams and their names, which remained the same as they had in the first season.
