2024-25 NBA G League season
The NBA's official minor league is in its 24th season, and it has reached a significant milestone: For the first time, all 30 NBA franchises have an affiliate participating in the league. Combined with the independent team in Mexico City, there are 31 teams in all, the same as in 2023-24. That's because while the Valley Suns enter the league, G League Ignite, which was based in Henderson, NV, is out.
There is a franchise relocation, as the Ontario Clippers become the San Diego Clippers, actually playing their home games in suburban Oceanside. Also, the name of the first part of the season has been changed from Showcase Cup to Tip-Off Tournament; however, the in-season title will be determined in the G League Winter Showcase as before. The Showcase is scheduled to take place in Orlando, FL and the December 21 session will be the first to admit spectators since 2017.
Each team plays 16 games in the Tip-Off Tournament, with the top team in each of four pods and the four teams with the next-best records advancing to the knockout stage. After that, there is a 34-game regular season, followed by a 12-team playoff (six per conference).
The G League is also planning an "Up Next" weekend on Feb. 15 and 16, apparently at the site of the NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco. Plans include a tournament of mini-games, a slam-dunk contest, and a skills contest.
In addition to existing contracts with ESPN, NBA TV, and Tubi, there is a new deal with The Roku Channel. In general, ESPN+ is Tuesday through Thursday, Tubi is Friday and Saturday, and NBA TV and Roku share Sunday. Only those games are listed here; all others are streamed on the league's YouTube channel. Except for games on ESPN-affiliated networks, these are simulcast on local stations and team broadcasters are assigned to call them. Those stations are as thus:
- Austin Spurs - FanDuel Sports Network (FDSN) SW or Extra

Grand Rapids, Indiana, and Oklahoma City have no local video outlets. Mexico City's webcasts are as thus: English-language on all services except ESPN (road games with the opponents' commentators, home games with remote commentators), Spanish-language on ESPN+ for home games if they occur on its regularly-scheduled nights, and Spanish-language on ESPN in Mexico and on Disney+ in Latin America.
KVVU-DT2 (Las Vegas), which was G League Ignite's local station, also shows occasional games from various teams.
